WThis is a home-style version of a cocktail found on a new menu. Designed as a party-sized prepared mix which is bursting with flavours of a holiday season, rendering it ideal for a holiday party. Any leftover syrup you can use for morning drinks, sweets, or to make more rounds of this cocktail.

Serves 10 people
For the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Drink (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
Making the Syrup: Place all the ingredients into a pan, bring to a gentle boil, agitating to dissolve. After that, take off the heat and leave to cool down completely. Pour into a clean bottle, close it keeping it in the refrigerator, it will last for up to a month.
To make Batch Mix: Mix every liquid ingredients into a big jug, allow it to infuse for an hour, then strain preferably using cheesecloth, making it perfectly clear.
To serve: Measure 85ml of the batch mix into your stirring glass containing ice, and agitate carefully for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter into a chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, top with some cranberries and finish with a quick spritz of the essential oil over the top.
